Along the same route as my Morning Mist, but this time in the afternoon, as I was going to pick Donna up from work. Taken with the Fujifilm X10 through the car window, since there's really no place to pull over and park near this location along Garrison Forest Road, and processed first with the in-camera raw conversion too, and then with Lightroom 5.2. I know it looks a little out-of-kilter, but I know the camera was level -- the X10 has a level that can display on the LCD while composing the image, and I keep it turned on!
I tried to make this picture this morning, but the light was all wrong. There was no definition anywhere, and all I got was a image full of mush. The early autumn afternoon light was the key ingredient! Yes, it really is all about the light!
